Steps:

1. Play Book A to 0:08 (can be any time, really).
2. Pause audio
3. Return to previous view (Catalog or My Books)
4. Reopen the Detail View of Book A
5. Tap "Play/Listen"

The player will be paused but will show show 0:00 for the timecode When you tap play, the audio then jumps to the correct start-point and plays (in this case 0:08).
