In reviewing licensepools data for titles marked as superceded, we discovered that very long titles are truncated to 100 characters. In our case, the titles had Volume X designations at the end (e.g., Masterpieces of Eloquence : Famous Orations of Great World Leaders from Early Greece to the Present Time (Volume 7)). But due to the fact the titles were truncated, the differing volume information was not considered. So the titles (though having different identifiers) were treated as different editions of the same work–previous editions then were marked superceded.
Consider removing the title truncation so the entire title statement is considered in determining "same work".
