This work is the implementation of a service gateway into Novelists new API. This new API was created by Novelist for SimplyE so a libraries SimplyE Circulation Manager can automatically update Novelist with the books in their collection so that their recommendation service can provide more relevant recommendations for that libraries particular collection. Prior to this API, libraries had to run manual reports from their ILS and send those manually to Novelist for processing. For libraries that already use Novelist with their ILS catalog its was not an issues. For libraries implementing Novelist as part of their SimplyE implementation this was an additional source of work and complexity for a library.
