The BibliographicRefreshScript was designed to make sure we had up-to-date bibliographic information for every book in the collection. However, it's no longer terribly useful, for a couple of reasons:
- We didn't keep it up to date with new sources of books.
- We changed the collection monitors to pull bibliographic information as soon as they hear about a book, so that we can make books presentation-ready earlier.
It would be useful to have a script that just made sure we had up-to-date bibliographic information about a specific book, but this script would need to be architected more like our new self-test system than BibliographicRefreshScript. Removing this script will let us move a lot of vendor-specific code out of core, where it's not necessary.
In addition to removing the code, we need to remove the bin/bibliographic_coverage script, and the entry for that script in the Docker crontab.
