I have not confirmed that this bug exists, but it needs to be investigated. If it turns out this works, then no harm done – just close this issue.

If the circulation manager discovers that the version of Elasticsearch is too old to be compatible, the server should still start up. This will give the admin a chance to go into the administrative interface and change the URL of the Elasticsearch integration.
