Display an icon that indicates audiobook or ebook type:
- At the left of the tabbed interface
- at the lower right on book cover images (for iOS)
- on rollover (for android)
Question for Willa Armstrong [X]: how does the screen reader read the icon? Does it read it every time it is encountered? If you are in the 'All' tab that would be important, but if you are in the 'Audiobooks,' or 'eBooks' tab it will be repetitive, is the repetition okay?
Designs:
Android/iOS player designs are up-to-date in the wiki (https://confluence.nypl.org/display/SIM/Patron+finds%2C+borrows%2C+plays%2C+and+adjusts+settings+for+audio+books+in+SimplyE) and Android measurements/assets are available here: https://www.figma.com/file/VJuFJNGaVSwdXF2VWiVuZ4oe/NYPL-SimplyE-mobile?node-id=0%3A1
Scope for QA: (it seems there were still unanswered questions at the time the implementation started. Let's use what is implemented, QA and review, and iterate)
- check/list places and scenarios where the icon appears
- list (comment / create a ticket to be discussed) any change that could be needed (based on the answer to the accessibility question or other considerations)
- clones
