      Some distributors give us manifests with links thatĀ expire within a short time period. The AudioBooks API needs to respond correctly when it encounters a link that has expired, and therefore it needs to know that a given linkĀ may expire, and therefore should treat any kind of HTTP error differently to the way the API would handle a normal non-expiring link.

      This can/should be implemented in the parser: If a manifest has come from a distributor that uses expiring links, then extra metadata should be added to links within the manifest that indicates that the links can expire.
