Looking in the metadata database, I saw about 100 "resolve-identifier" coverage records where the exception was set to "No work done yet" but the status was set to "success". All of them were for ISBN identifiers.

It looks like something is marking ISBN coveraged records as successfully covered without clearing the exception or (I believe) doing any work. If I had to guess I'd say the culprit is

make_opds_entry_from_metadata_lookups

, but a quick look at the code didn't turn up anything.

I've fixed those 100 records by running a script but I bet this is going to happen again.
