Bookmarks data backing TOC view out of sync with tableview's data source.

      PR 902 protects against the crash caught by bugsnag in issue #899...

      ...but it is still unknown how exactly the 

      self.bookmarks

      property of the TOC view controller can become out of sync with the rows shown on screen in the table view. This is worth looking at because a user could still end up choosing to delete a row that ends up representing a different bookmark.
