Goal
Support PDF Documents in SimplyE.

A lot of content in NYPL's collection, as well as many of our partner's collections, contains content such as comics, graphic novels, children's picture books, periodicals, journals, and other Open Access materials. PDF documents should be read and bookmared just like our existing ebook collection that currently exists in the app. Additionally, certain kinds of "Annotation" could be supported that would be unique to PDF's.

Priority is fluid on each individual point, and so should be assessed as development continues:

• Open and read non-Adobe protected PDFs (DRM-Free) (SIMPLY-175 , SIMPLY-229)
• View and search this catalog alongside eBooks (SIMPLY-174)
• Open & Read a PDF (SIMPLY-176, SIMPLY-198)
  • Annotate a PDFs ("annotate" can emcompass a lot of things)
  • Navigate a PDF
  • Bookmark a location in a PDF 
• Create a citation from a PDF (SIMPLY-58)
