We're hearing reports from patrons that indicate that their downloads are failing or freezing. Originally it was OverDrive only, but now we're hearing it from CloudLibrary as well. These reports are coming from NYPL, Brooklyn, and Santa Clara.
This happens for both e-books and audiobooks. Santa Clara is having more problems with audiobooks.
One NYPL report includes the download preventing them logging out: "One patron, Rose, could not even log out of the app. 'Logout failed...please wait for certain download related actions to finish before logging out'."
If these are separate tickets for each condition, let me know and I'll file new ones.
